Since 1974Three generations. One standard.

Scott started here at 16, working for his dad. Fifty years on, the trucks still say American, the doors are still built and installed by our own crew, and the phone still gets answered by a human who knows your neighborhood.

We’re one of Colorado’s largest custom garage door and gate providers, and we’re still family-owned. That’s not a tagline. It’s why we show up.

ReviewsWhat our customers say

“I have worked with American Garage Door for over 15 years and they have installed nearly 100 doors for me. Their quality and service are both outstanding. In the limited amount of warranty calls that we have had, their attention has been prompt and the issue easily resolved. Don’t bother looking anywhere else for your next garage door!”

“I had to replace my Garage Door and had an excellent experience with American Garage Door. They got the job done when they said it would be delivered and did an outstanding job getting it put up. The garage door looks amazing and I could not be more satisfied with the results!”

Our brands:

Preventative maintenanceSprings break in winter. Tune up before it’s 5°F.

A once-a-year tune-up catches worn springs, frayed cables and tired openers before they strand your car in the garage on the coldest morning of the year. Safety inspection, spring and cable check, roller and track alignment, opener calibration, photo-eye test, weather-seal review. About an hour. Worth every minute.
