Mountain doors work harderGarage door repair & replacement in Dillon
Garage doors in Dillon live a harder life than doors down the hill. Wind off the reservoir, drifting snow, and sub-zero nights from November to April. Springs fatigue faster in the cold, weather seals crack, and openers that were fine in September start straining by January. If your door is slow, loud, crooked, or stuck, call American Garage Door. We’ve been servicing the high country for decades, and our trucks carry the springs, cables, rollers and openers to fix most doors in one trip.
Family-owned since 1974Dillon garage door experts
American Garage Door & Gate Systems has been family-owned in Colorado since 1974. Scott started here at 16 working for his dad, and the same crew that builds custom doors in our Wheat Ridge shop installs and services them in Dillon. We sell and install Clopay, Amarr, C.H.I., Martin, LiftMaster and Genie, and we build custom wood and steel doors for homes that deserve better than a catalog. Licensed, insured, and never subcontracted.
Same-day when we can, next-day when we can’tGarage door service & repair in Dillon
Broken spring, snapped cable, door off its track, opener that hums and quits: we handle all of it, on every brand, in Dillon and across Summit County. Most mountain calls are handled next-day, same-day whenever a truck is already up the hill, and 24/7 emergency service is one phone call away at 303-321-6065. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
Winter tip: book a preventative-maintenance tune-up in the fall. An hour in October beats a stuck car in January.
Built for the high countryCustom garage doors in Dillon
Dillon homes along the lake and up in Summit Cove deserve a door that matches the view, not a builder-grade panel. Our in-house craftsmen build custom cedar, fir and steel doors sized to your opening and finished for altitude sun and freeze-thaw. Insulated construction, high-wind rated, and matched to your home’s siding, windows and entry door. The custom cedar project pictured was built in our shop and installed near Breckenridge.
